Hendershot Gallery
Thursday evening was the show at the Hendershot Gallery featuring Hank O’Neal and the XCIA artists, each of whom contributed to O’Neals new book XCIA’s Street Art Project: Artist Edition. The show, curated by the ‘in the know’ Allison Crawbuck, was a blast and a grand success. It is always an honor to share a space with so much talent.
Army of One/JC2, Chris Stain, ENX and myself all created special one of a kind artists editions of the XCIA books that are being sold exclusively from the gallery. “Notorious”, “Marylin”, “Andy” & “Andy Clown” created in mixed media collage on wood, signed, numbered and with the official seal are featured on the back of each of the Fumero-XCIA editions. No two editions are the same.
The crowd once again came out to support Hank O’Neal’s photographic legacy and I felt BIG love for the digital print of the original 16″ x 20″ canvas painting, ‘Notorious’. Just the day before, Diddy took a photograph of that copy hanging on the Bowery building and posted it on his Instagram…what an awesome compliment.
Thanks to Hendershot Gallery and Allison Crawbuck for a wonderful print show by a plethora of talented street artists. Special thanks to Siman Media Works’ XCIA artists editions launch and all the friends, fans and followers for supporting. We here at Fumeroism are always grateful for the public positivity.
Artist note: While our event was one evening, Hendershot Gallery’s current exhibit ‘REPrint’ is running until August 15th and is absolutely worth the visit. Their walls are filled with many of the hottest street artists on the market.
