A new outdoor gallery has emerged in Brooklyn - ENYM (East New York Murals), a mural collective transforming urban space into a living exhibition. Grafstract by Fumero is currently on view at Euclid Avenue and Linden Boulevard.
Drawing from ancient Egypt, the piece juxtaposes a faceliess Queen Nefertiti with the Great Sphinx, attributed to Pharaoh Khufu. A light-blue line suggests the Nile River, leading to a vibrant burtst of color at the composition's center. The background shifts between night and day, anchored by a rising sun rendered in Fumero's signature grafstraction style.
Gratitude is extended to the East New York community, curator Mike, and the ENYM team for their support and collaboration in bringing this work to life.
