Fumeroism - The Solo Debut

June began on a very positive note, as my first New York solo exhibit, titled “Fumeroism” was launched on Thursday at Phantom. The evening was perfect, with many familiar faces, new people to meet and an elegant location in Chelsea. I had the opportunity to hear from people with a range of opinions and critiques. I was humbled by remarks regarding my approach to fine art…of passionate opinions on how the art communicated to them. It was most intriguing to hear from those in the crowd that have never seen my work in person.

Every person in attendance made this evening as special as I imagined it would. They brought with them the positive energy, intrigue and passion that artists hope to create through their art. A special ‘thanks’ must go to both the curator, the talented Frankie Velez and to Mary of Phantom Audio, for making my solo debut such positive event.

Thanks to all who came out to support “Fumeroism”…but get ready because Fumero will be “In Your Face” on Saturday, August 13th, at 17 Frost Gallery!
